مردہ قدموں سے چلی وہ گھر کے پیچھے سے آتی اندر دہلیز پر قدم رکھا۔۔اسکا گلا سوکھ کر اس میں کانٹے چھبنے لگے تھے۔۔آنکھیں برسنے کو بےتاب تھی۔۔

وہ دہلیز پر کھڑی تھی۔۔سامنے ہال میں سب موجود تھے۔۔جنہیں دیکھ کر اسکا دل خون کے آنسوں رونے لگا اسنے سوچا تھا۔۔

وہ چپ چاپ اپنے کمرے میں جاکر بہت روئے گی ۔۔پر ایسا نہیں ہوسکا۔۔۔

اب دوسرا اذیت بھرا لمحہ جس کے بارے میں سوچ کر اسے اندر ہی اندر بہت تکلیف ہونے لگی۔ ۔

اتنی تکلیف نا ہوتی اگر سامنے شہریار نا بیٹھا ہوتا۔ ۔

پری بیٹا تم یہاں کیوں کھڑی ہو۔۔ آئو اندر شیری تو کب سے بیٹھا ہے اور تم ہو کہ یہی کھڑی ہو آجائو تھک گئی ہوگی۔ باہر دھوپ بھی کتنی ہے آجائو شاباش۔۔عالیہ بیگم نے اسے دہلیز پر ہی کھڑا دیکھا تو پیار سے بولی۔ ۔

عالیہ بیگم کے کہنے پر سب کی نظریں دروازے کی جانب گئی جہاں وہ رونے جیسی شکل بنائے اندر کو آرہی تھی ۔۔

اااا۔۔۔اسسلام۔۔۔مشکلہی مشکل تھی اسکے لیے ۔۔سرخ لب پھڑپھڑانے لگے۔ ۔بڑی بڑی آنکھوں میں پانی تیرنے لگا۔ ۔وہ ابھی رو دیتی جب سب نے اسکے سلام کا جواب دیا سوائے شیری کے جس کے لبو پر زہریلی مسکراہٹ تھی جسنے سترہ سال  کی پریا کو رونے پر مجبور کر دیا۔ ۔

جائو بیٹا دونوں فریش ہوجائو تب تک میں تم دونوں کے لیے کھانا لگاتی ہوں۔ ۔

عائمہ بیگم نے دونوں سے کہا۔ ۔نوشین جائو تم پری کے لیے ٹھنڈا پانی لے کر جائو اسے کمرے میں۔ نوشین جو ساتھ بیٹھی تھی اٹھ کر پانی لینے چلی گئی۔ ۔

باقی سب نے تو نہیں پر نوشین نے اسکا آنسوں زمین پر گرتے دیکھا تھا ۔۔اور پھر اسنے شیری کے طرف دیکھا جو غصے سے پری کو ہی دیکھ رہا تھا۔

ہاں۔۔۔ اسکے سلام کرنے تک دو دن تو یہی گذر جاتے شکر ہے مکمل کرنے سے پہلے جواب مل گیا۔ ۔شیری اس پر طنز کرتا  قہر بھری نظروں سے اسے دیکھنے لگا ۔۔

اور وہ معصوم  اسکے زہریلے الفاظ اور نظروں پر تڑپتی اپنے اندر اتارتی اوپر اپنے کمرے میں چلی گئی۔

یہ کیا بدتمیزی تھی شہریار یہ کیسے بات کر رہے ہو تم پری کے ساتھ ۔۔ تمہیں شرم نہیںآتی کسی معصوم کا دل دکھاتے ہوئے۔۔

اگر  بھائی صاحب یا تمہارے پاپا نے تمہارے الفاظ سن لیے تو وہ تمہارے ساتھ کیا کریں گے میں خود سوچ بھی نہیں سکتی۔ ۔

اور اس معصوم کو کیوں تکلیف دے رہے ہو۔ اسے تو پتا بھی نہیں ہے بڑوں کے فیصلے کی۔

 یہ تو اپنے باپ کے ظلم سے بچنے کے لیے ہے یہاں۔ ذرا شرم کرو کزن ہے تمہاری نوشین اور دراب کی طرح اس لیے عزت اور نرمی سے پیش آئو۔ عائمہ بیگم نے اسے اچھا خاصا جھڑکا اور آخر میں کچھ شرم بھی ڈلائی۔ ۔جو شیری کو آنے سے رہی۔
